Doughboys Noodle Cafe - Lake Tekapo

We came in just after mid day they had a 45min wait on chips, no chicken left so ended up getting a beef burger, wasn't terrible but certainly not worth the price. I had to wait just shy of 25mins for 1 burger in a not busy store. On holiday, time is valuable and if you're spending time, you want it to be worth it. The mince and cheese pie was the best I’ve had in NZ! As an Australian, I don’t eat pies at home because they’re full of gristle and fat yuck. So every time I come to NZ, I eat as many as I can and this was hands down the best I’ve had on this 2.5 week trip. Cheese was proper cheese, and so tasty, zero fat and gristle perfect!
