La Cabana Mexican Cafe - Lakehills

This restaurant has been around for quiet some time. In the beginning as they were getting established the food would be really great or mediocre but it was always good. They have been making great food consistently now and the servers are friendly and professional. Good prices and plenty of food on each plate. If u haven't eaten here then I think u should try it. I think u will surprised at the quality of the meal and the assortment of menu items. We think their food is great and hope they are around for a long time to come.

Since the Covid Virus I was looking for a Mexican Restaurant outside of Bexar County and in my county of Medina/Bandera. I was pleasantly surprised to find La Cabana Mexican Cafe. The food is delicious and the people there are super nice. Have been back many times and recommend them to others too. Keep up the good work La Cabana.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!! We walked in with another party of six, where a sign said �Seat Yourself�. The other party told us to sit down at a table for four because there was not a table for six. The owner/manager walked over to us and RUDELY told us to move to another table because there was a party of six BEFORE us. WHAT?!? We walked in together! I even held the door for most of their party. We were embarrassed and humiliated by her hostile tone, so we moved to another table (which made no sense at all because there still wasn�t a table that could fit six! Since she is the owner/manager, there was no one to speak to about how bad-mannered and unprofessional she was. Unfortunately, Lakehills is a small community with no other place to eat Mexican food. Believe me, this restaurant would not survive in a competitive environment with that kind of customer service. Plus she charged me $1.99 for tea which should have been included with the lunch special ! Watch your bill if she is at the register !! Next time I want mediocre Mexican food, I�ll drive the 25 minutes into San Antonio. You've been warned!

We went for breakfast and left without food because service was soooo slow! 45 minutes and a rude waitress- just for 3 bean and cheese tacos, chiliquiles and huevos rancheros. Prices were too high as well. Will not be going back!! We have lived here in Lake Hills for 10 years and have watched the prices rise and the service go downhill. Its too bad because we used to eat here frequently and now we would not recommend this to anyone.
