Louie's On The Lake - Lakemont

It may look a bit worn down, and I can imagine it was spectacular in its prime, but much of the building is now used for storage and feels a bit dark. However, don’t let the appearance deceive you. This place serves some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. I have no idea how these seemingly simple ingredients come together, but the magic happening in that small kitchen is truly perfection. It doesn’t matter; I give it a 10/10. I would drive several hours when I come to North Georgia just to enjoy it again.

If you're willing to wait half an hour for a pizza while the owner gives instructions to his staff, then Louie's is the place for you. Seriously, this establishment has some major issues. The owner behaves like an insecure 12-year-old, which is surprising considering he is a grown man. It's no wonder his employees laugh behind his back. And just to set the record straight, Louie's was not busy at all—only three tables were occupied. Initially, Louie reacted defensively to my review, as if I was coming to confront him or something, but it seems he's changed his tune, likely after realizing the truth of the situation.

This pizza is absolutely fantastic, and I consider myself quite the pizza connoisseur. It's the best New York-style pizza I've ever tasted outside of New York. Recently, the service has been very friendly, and the pizzas come out hot and fresh every time. We even got some special offers on certain nights! We visited three times in just five days, and I could have gone back for more! I wish I had taken pictures, but we devoured everything so quickly. One downside is that the bathrooms could use some serious attention—they need a lot of love.

A friend and I were in the opposite that drove my electric ww golf. I remember being in a panic because I didn't realize that the opposite had no places to charge my car. I had 4 miles wide and there was no charger in sight. but we have passed a little nissan leaf randomly and decided to ask them if they knew of any chargers we did not. the one who owned the leaf worked for loui am see. she immediately told us that we can use the plug of the restaurant in free to calculate. I'm not grateful they did this. we sat and ate while the car was charged. it was wonderful. excellent food and atmosphere. they also have the most beautiful employees! if you read this, you are the best and thank you so much that you feed us on our journey! if I could rate more than 5 stars, I would.

There were three in our party we were seated immediately and our order's taken and food came out and very timely fashion. Pizza was good and the service was friendly
