I had an excellent first experience at this restaurant! I was searching for local beef and organ meats, and they had everything I needed. The quality was impressive, and the staff were helpful and friendly, assisting me in finding exactly what I was looking for. I definitely plan to return; I just need to coordinate my visit with their operating hours. It would be great to see them extend their hours!

I recently needed some quality beef tallow for a new technique for cold smoking steaks. I popped into the shop and was met by a very knowledgeable and helpful individual, Shea Dow.The staff here are very knowledgeable about the cuts and what to do with them. When you buy from Texas Beef Traders, you are getting Local Texas Beef and I can attest to the quality of the cuts.Our menu called for bone marrow appetizers which came precut (long ways so you can serve in the bone rather than medallions) and wrapped. After all nothing kills your appetite like losing a finger or two to a band saw trying to cut your own.Our next requirement was a collection of steaks according to taste. My wife and mother wanted fillets and my father and I wanted some tomahawks. All the meat here is dry aged and you can taste it in the final product. Rich reds and purples color these cuts and the quality of the source is readily apparent. No overly fatty cuts were present, and you get a great selection of sizes.If there is something you want that is more exotic just ask at the counter and they will take care of you.Prices are great, selection is on point, and quality through the roof.
