Wow! Just plain wow! I discovered this restaurant based on another person's social media and had to check it out. Absolutely amazing food! This may be one of the best breakfast/lunch spots I have eaten at in the Denver Metro Area. I used to pass by their old building and was not impressed with the exterior of the building; for that reason I never stopped in. That was definitely my loss. Thus far, I have stopped in twice; once on a Saturday and once on a week day. Both times they were busy but the weekend was REALLY busy like wait list busy. The staff were very efficient at handling the pace of business. My servers were excellent both times. The first time I tried the Irish skillet with biscuits and sausage gravy. I got news of a family members death just after my meal was served so I took it to go (had lost my appetite . I ended up eating it as leftovers that night about 7 hours later and it was still delicious even the biscuits did not get hard. My server was very gracious when I told her I had to take my food to go as I had just received word of my mother's death (two days before Christmas 2023 . She even served me a huge cinnamon roll to go as comfort food for me at no cost! People can be so kind! The second time I had their Greek Salad. Initially, I was a little apprehensive about the appearance of their salad dressing; but much to my surprise it was very delicious different but delicious. (Greek Salads are my go to salad choice. You MUST stop in and enjoy a meal with these guys. They have some very interesting alcoholic beverages on their menu. It is a sports bar type atmosphere but it is definitely not a place where the focus is on alcohol. The vibe is about good food and people gathering together! Big screen TVs line the east wall with all different channels being broadcasted.
I'd taken my son to Carnation for years. Then I found out today that it changed to Danny Ray's in a new location. Well, the change was great! Same great chow, but better parking, more spacious dining, more relaxed atmosphere, tvs all over with news and sports. Plus, I could get a **** mary with my machaka skillet. I brought both my son's this time and both the college man and 8th grader loved it. We have a new tradition! Can't recommend this place enough!
Great food, fun place, and great customer service! Thank you!
Wonderful food and staff. I recommend the Spinach Florentine skillet, it's very rich and a huge portion but it's absolutely delicious.
