Dutch Bros Coffee - Lakewood

I?ve been coming to this location since before the pandemic. Before it was poppin. Never really had an issue and i still don?t but i think for future reference, if a person orders a hot drink and the line is long, put a stopper sticker on it. Because once i get to the window, they THEN ask me if i want a stopper on it....by the time that happened i might as well have ordered an iced coffee. I ordered a hot drink. i wanted it to be...HOT. Common sense you know?

I had to give this a try because of all the talk about how awesome DB is. Extremely long lines. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte. Get to window and they say they don?t have any milk that isn?t expired?? Seriously ???? So I order something else and have to wait a long time to get it. Everyone behind me is waiting even longer. The lady hands me the drink without a sleeve and it is so hot it is hard to hold it. The drink was just ok. Nothing special. Don?t know what all the rave is about but I will stick to Starbucks.

I'm not very familiar with Dutch Bros yet, so I can't provide a thorough review, but I do have an observation to share. I pass by the location almost every day, and it's amazing to see how many people are willing to wait in a long drive-thru line for coffee! The lines on weekends are something else entirely. Now, if you think I'm about to write a negative review, that's not the case! In my opinion, the fact that so many people are willing to wait in line suggests that the coffee and food must be EXCELLENT! I plan to try some coffee soon and will update you on whether my assumption is correct.

My boyfriend and I frequently visit this Dutch Bros, and Jay is one of the standout employees there. He is consistently kind and personable during our visits. His friendly demeanor and bright smile truly make this location our favorite and brighten our day each time we stop by.

Jay is the best barista! I got my amazing drink from this Dutch Bros this morning, and he is so kind-hearted. He always has a smile on his face and provides impeccable customer service! He definitely deserves a bonus or a raise! Thanks for making my day better, Jay. You rock!
