The menu seems to keep expanding! My boyfriend ordered a hearty feast that included eggs, bacon, pancakes, and a bunch of other goodies. By the end of the meal, his plates were completely clean, so clearly it was all delicious. I opted for the stuffed French toast, and let me tell you, it was a delightful sugary indulgence that made my inner child very happy. I devoured every last bite of that sweet treat. Make sure to leave room for yourself—and drink plenty of water afterward!
As a young boy in the 1950s, I remember watching the construction of the IHOP on Lakewood Blvd in Lakewood, California. I was so excited, and my mother promised that I would be their first customer when they opened. She kept her promise! Those were such wonderful memories!
The food was very good. I had the sirloin tops. Yummy!
We've been visiting this IHOP for many years, but everything has changed since our last trip. There's a new menu and a new staff. I was disappointed to see that my favorite fried chicken dinner is no longer offered. Instead, I opted for the garlic butter burger. As expected at IHOP, I had the option to substitute pancakes for fries! The food was delicious, and our server, Vanessa, did a wonderful job. We will definitely keep coming back!
The food was good, fast service, they were busy. Only thing is they won't split checks when multiple people are paying. They can only take 2 different payments. The restaurant is very small and we were not comfortable at our booth. Our server was attentive.
