Laventina's Pizza - Lakewood

**Service:** Absolutely the worst. The staff was incredibly rude and appeared indifferent to our concerns. We had paid extra for a specific crust, but they made our pizzas with thin crust instead. When we presented them with our online order confirmation, which clearly outlined the details, they simply dismissed it as a “glitch in the system.” They refused to remake our pizzas or refund us for the additional charge. Their attitude was essentially “take it or leave it,” showing no concern for our dissatisfaction. While the pizza itself was decent, I’m not inclined to return after this experience. **Food:** The chutney pizza was good—it offered a unique flavor profile and had just the right amount of spice. It’s a Jain pizza, which is a great option for those following Jain dietary restrictions. On the other hand, the Thai Chili pizza was rather lackluster. I had hoped it would be spicier, similar to the chutney pizza, but it fell short and tasted more like a basic pizza topped with tomatoes and onions. It wasn’t anything special. We also tried the garlic knots, which were just okay; they tasted like they came straight from the freezer, and the dipping sauce was disappointing—more like sugary water than a proper sauce. I wouldn't recommend the knots. **Ambiance:** This is primarily a takeout spot, not really a place for dining in.
