Tamales Moreno - Lakewood

Everything we’ve gotten here has been delicious. I usually get the chicken quesadilla and my guy gets tamales. We need to try the breakfast burrito. Also best churros I have ever had!

Omg, amazing gem of Mexican food in a tiny little space. It's only takeout, there isn't any seating at all. You can call in an order ahead, or just go and order there, but you might have to wait 5-15 minutes to pick up depending on how many other orders they're putting together. Their tamale family packs are fabulous... Excellent tamales, beans, rice, green chili, and some other great items depending on the one you select. Perfect for a quick lot of delicious food to feed a group of people.

Well when I find great food at places that maybe don't look so perfect inside or out, I have learned to ignore that and just enjoy the food. When in Rome... This and Chili Shack on Colfax are two examples, killer food that's really original and delicious, but it's perhaps better not to look too closely at how and where they prepare it. Their red and green tamales are just fantastic, the green maybe a little tastier than the red. Generally in our experience there are no English speakers working but, they are always very friendly and get the order right every time. Freshly made, hot and delicious tamales, beat that!

My favorite tamale shop. My kids and I used to hate eating the masa but this place got it right. Very soft and flavorful and there’s more meat than masa.

This is the place to gey tamales. The breakfasf burritos are execelent as well.
