The most concerning issue was that the sweet and sour chicken balls I received actually contained prawns instead of chicken, which I only realized after taking a bite. The rest of the food was cold and mediocre - the chow mein was mushy, the mushrooms tasted strange, and the curry sauce had congealed. I would recommend avoiding this place as there are much better Chinese takeaways with superior food quality, customer service, and overall experience.
We ordered a Sunday night takeaway and our mains of crispy beef and chilli chicken were covered in an overly sweet sauce and inedible. The prawn toast, rice and prawn crackers were good. The spring rolls were okay but nothing special. Would not eat here again due to the sweet sauce that ruined our food. I'm sure the staff are lovely, but as we had a takeaway I cannot comment.
The restaurant refused to take responsibility and provide a replacement. They were unhelpful and did not make any effort to rectify the error of not delivering the main dish, which ultimately ruined the meal. They implied that the fault lay with the Deliveroo driver.
Just like many others, I also enjoy spending Sunday nights watching my favorite TV shows and ordering food delivery. On a recent Sunday, I decided to order Chinese food from Yun Hua through Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my experience was not great. The food arrived quickly, but it was not tasty. The spring rolls were mostly filled with beansprouts, the crispy beef didn't taste like any kind of beef I had tried before, and the chicken was dry and difficult to swallow. The soy sauce helped a little bit, but overall, the food was disappointing. I cannot speak for the staff, as it was a takeaway order, but I will not be ordering from Yun Hua again.
Ordered duck and ribs because couldn't find what we actually wanted with the Chinese pork... The ribs arrived made from lamb belly and were just fat and bone. The Yun Hua management should be transparent about the change rather than just grey out the items on the online menu as unavailable or, worse, replace with overly greasy lamb fat.
