We vacillated between here and the Abri de Canot across the street (different styles, different prices and walked in, fairly early in the evening. It was empty, and we almost walked back across the way. The young lady proprietor consulted her reservations book (the cynic in me thought oh, yeah, this is show and said she could accommodate we four. I 'm ashamed to say that only an hour later the place was full, with people being turned away. Despite the pressure we were served effectively, and ate a most enjoyable meal. One of us had the Kig ha farz de lotte (monkfish with a traditional Breton buckwheat sort of blini dumpling which was very tasty, but we weren 't so sure about the blini thing. There followed an interesting discussion about traditional Breton food. Still didn 't care for it much, but many do. I absolutely reccommend this place.
We've come to this place 4 times and everytime the service and the food were excellent. It is reasonably priced (all main courses under 20 euros), the pitcher white wine is stunning. We'll come back.
It is a nice and simple restaurant nested nearby Aber Wrac’h, seafoods are some time proposed in an unusual way but all the time the result is fine, prices are reasonable, atmosphere is relax. Some days the service could be slow if many guests
Booked via email 48 hours beforehand, email confirmed and checked we still wanted at 11.55 am, email response 12.25 pm to say yes please, look forward to seeing you this evening. Travel 15 k to be told they had not responded to my email therefore we could just be squeezed in but had to vacate table within 1.5 hours. Needless to say never ate there but attitude was disgusting and really didn’t care we had confirmed via email. Would not dream of setting foot anywhere near again. Terrible
Popular place with locals excellent range of dishes we enjoyed the crown of lamb 19€ . The local Breton speciality le kig a farz de lotte, was a sensation! Service and ambience all excellent The pichet of white wine was pretty good, too! This was the best of the three good restaurants we used.
