We stumbled upon this restaurant in the middle of the night around 2am, and it ended up being a lifesaver for us. Their chicken kebab was delicious and satisfying.
During our visit to Langkawi, we dined at this restaurant twice. The first time, we ordered the mixed grill, shawarma, and fries, which were all fantastic. The mixed grill was especially delicious and enough for two people. On our second visit, we brought the chef a fish we had caught, and she cooked us a delicious fish curry, without charging us for it. We were only charged for the rice, fries, and drinks we ordered. We were impressed by their hospitality and dedication to their work. We highly recommend trying out this restaurant if you are in Langkawi.
My husband and I were the only people at the restaurant on a Monday evening, which was a bit odd. However, the service we received was excellent. The babaganoush and lavash bread, along with the mint lemonade, were delicious. My chicken shwarma was decent, but the sauce wasn't as tasty as I've had at other places. My husband ordered the lamb kefte with Turkish rice, salad, and French fries. Everything was good except for the fries. The prices were not as cheap as street food, but still more affordable than the food at our hotel. The portions were very generous. Overall, we had a enjoyable dining experience.
Late night stop over after a delayed flight from KL. No AC. Rough looking waiters and establishment. Took our orders and then walked across the street to get cokes and charged us double later. Food was luke warm shawarma with damp bread. On my one experience, gives me the shakes every time I drive past. Save yourself the bother and head further in town.
