Contribuisci feedbackMy wife and i had an outstanding dinner at Hai Yan. Food was excuisite, ambience was great and service was extraordinary. Maggie, our server and Jerry, the restaurant manager went out of the way to make our evening really really special.
Service is top notch even for 5 star hotel standards, manager Jerry was amazing, he even gave me a tour of the restaurant which is marvelous. Waitress Isabel also did an amazing job taking care of me. I had the bbq degustation, vegetables and fried rice. All the quality of the food felt like it was the best of the best. Not with the opportunities: 1. Bbq degustation is pricey (as it contains duck and Wagyu), and it does not include nothing but the meats, if you are charging 250RM+ for a plate, it will not hurt your bottom line if you include a plate of steamed rice or something like that. plate presentation is not the best, not even a cilantro leaf for decoration and all three meats in a huge plate with a lot of empty space. duck was lacking some seasoning (salt) the Wagyu meat did not feel super fresh and it felt a little over cooked, but flavor wise was delicious as you would expect from Wagyu. 2. Location was beautiful and the service was excellent. However, the food was very average for the price paid. Not great value for money.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing sunset view. Good effort from service and culinary team. Will be better
Needless to say, food is very good. Most significant point is ocean view from restaurant. It makes the taste better.
