Coal Creek Tap - Laramie

This restaurant is a lovely spot to stop for a break while traveling to Yellowstone National Park. The beer was clean and had a straightforward taste, with no frills. Overall, everything was enjoyable.

Overall, the restaurant received an excellent rating of 5 for both service and atmosphere. However, the outdoor dog-friendly seating area was disappointing, with small portions of green chili appetizer and a lack of cheese. The sweet potato fries were also underwhelming, more boiled than fried. It seems like the chef and kitchen staff could use some improvement in their cooking techniques.

I am a frequent visitor of Coal Creek Tap and every time I go, the service is friendly and fast. The food is delicious, especially the hatch skewers. I also enjoy indulging in the sweet potato fries with ranch when I feel like splurging on calories. I have been loving the red beer selection lately, and the staff is knowledgeable about the different options. The atmosphere is relaxed during the day, but can get loud at night. Overall, it's a great spot to visit in the city.

Cool place with beautiful sunny seating, delicious beer flights and great service. love that they write their beer up to get on the flight so that they don't forget what is. will be definitiw back when I'm in laramie!

First trip to this place. Recommended by the desk staff at the best western. First off, the beer is really good. Had the red double IPA and it was great. Then tried the experimental and again it was really great!. Ordered the Ruben. In my world, one of the true test foods at a bar. It was pretty good. A little too bread heavy for me but the flavor was really good. Served with blue corn tortilla chips. Strange but good. I ordered some green chili"dip"to go with the chips... pretty hot, made my nose run! Awesome! As far as environment goes... it's a small space. No private conversation here and it's a little loud because of that. I'm pretty conservative in most cases and the conversation around me was so hateful. I get it, I'm in a college town but I'm in Wyoming. I guess I was caught off guard. Enjoyed the lack of reality and ordered another beer before returning to my room. If you're in town looking for a good beer, make sure you stop in.
