Located at the end of the road in Lark Harbour, we stopped in for lunch just as a tour bus was leaving. We opted for the lobster for lunch and were able to select it ourselves from a cage in the water at the back of Myrtles. This family-owned and operated establishment offers a lobster meal that includes two sides and a roll for a very reasonable price of $32 for a 1.5 pound lobster. Highly recommended if you don't mind the drive to the end of Highway 450.
WOW! Freshest Cod n Chips I've ever had. Edna's batter is so light as well. Cute little patio with spectacular views. This restaurant is run by the owners (Edna and her hubby) from start to finish. Well worth the drive to Lark Harbour!
Myrtle's on the Bay is the small seaside restaurant that you are looking for. We had the best fresh mussels ever--and they were also a very generous portion. Servers were super friendly, and the outside deck offered a great view of the bay.
Veronica has created a gem in and on Lark Harbour since taking over from her great-grandmother Myrtle. Sit on the deck overlooking the harbor, pick your own lobster during the season right from the traps, or just relax in a chill setting. We visited on a recent Friday afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our mussels and chowder with wine and cold beer. We will absolutely be back when we revisit NL. Thanks to all for a wonderful and fun afternoon. Pat Cindi
