Looks like my expectation is way too high. The Hainan chicken is fair and it not quite match the actual Hainan Style I had in Singapore. The quality of the chicken is not that good though. Some dish like noodles and appetizers are not that good either. Conclusion: it's a choice for quick lunch or dinner with acceptable taste.
I ordered dumpling noodle soup and milk tea. Noodle is good. The dumpling is okay. And milk tea is good. I will give another try for other dishes like chicken rice.
Best Hainanese chicken in town. Boneless and tender. Coconut rice needs a little more olive oil to make it perfect. Otherwise, just enjoy.
Service was okay. We were served one main dish much earlier than the other, which was unexpected and not a good vibe overall. First dish was getting cold by the time the fried rice was being served. In my opinion, the Mongolian beef Chow mein I ordered was lacking in flavor. The other dishes we ordered were ok, but also somewhat lacking in flavor. The dining area was bright, and had a small cafeteria feel. Very casual.
Update: came here last night with a friend. We ordered:1. Hunan Chicken Rice. We both enjoyed especially because they de-bone the chicken great move by the kitchen ??2. Crab Rangoon nice fried3. Citrus Honey tea nice on cold days.Parking lot has spaces but is very busy.Took my Bosses here and they liked everything! We ordered Steamed Ginger Chicken, combination bowl #7, Wonton soup, Chinese Porridge, Salted Steam Chicken, Jelly fish appetizer and pickled Zucchini.Nicely seasoned and very tasty.
