I arrived at the restaurant with modest expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. A quick tip for anyone considering this place: it's one of the few that offers delicious ribs. The meat was tender and flavorful, exceeding my expectations. I would say this restaurant has a charming ambiance that adds to the experience. Located in Container Park on the old Fremont Strip, it has a lovely atmosphere and serves above-average dishes. Overall, I highly recommend it!
I recently visited this restaurant in Fedmont when I was quite hungry. I ordered the children's portion of brisket with macaroni, which was just the right amount for me. I also tried the peach crumble. The brisket was tender and well-seasoned, and while the macaroni was creamy, it had a surprising hint of celery flavor. I didn't actually spot any celery in it, but the taste was definitely there. It wasn’t bad, just different from what I had expected. As for the peach crumble, I have to say I had never had it before made with bread or cake. It reminded me more of a peach-flavored bread pudding. It was flavorful, but I was expecting a cake-like crust. Overall, this is a pretty good place to eat. The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were fantastic.
The barbecue was outstanding, and I definitely need to try it again!
