Paina Cafe - Las Vegas

Quick craving fixed. If you're looking for poke by the lbs this may be a quick fix if you're in the area. inari bomb is fantastic ??. I always pick up a pound of the Hawaiian style tako!

Everything here has always been good. the mochi donuts aren't cheap, but worth it when you're in the mood.

If you are in Vegas and want some good island food... DO NOT pass them up!!!

Overall 3.5 Nice little spot, definitely see many people around. Quite fast service. Food wise, overall good but nothing extraordinary. The poke was fresh, but too much sauce for my liking which did overpower the fresh salmon in my opinion. That being said, solid balanced sauce, not heavy and quite indulgent. The spam musubi was not the greatest. Rice did feel a bit drier than I would prefer, like it may have been sitting and exposed to heat for a bit longer, Spam itself was nicely flavored, salty but did have a slight sweetness. Mochi donut was nice. More mochi texture and so softer but did have a good chew. The paina cake roll was good. I really liked the custard filling and the ube cream. Again not overly sweet which is nice, mild ube notes. Soft fluffy cake too. Overall would like to come back and grab some more for a quick treat. Not bad but nothing too out of the ordinary!
