It will not be that long again and I now live 1700 miles away. But I'm back a lot. Anyway...The place is adorable!!! Polish memorabilia is everywhere. Some for sale. If you speak Polish, you can do that here with the staff and owner. The food is magnificent!! I am an adventurous eater and never had Polish food before. It's amazing and this is done so well. Everything is fresh. Delicious!! My favorites were the pickle soup and red (hot) borscht. Just absolutely fantastic. These are made with love!! Also care and tenderness. You can taste it. My buddy had the polish sausage and said it was divine. He ordered another to take home. The pierogis were fantastic!! We tried most of them. The spinach and feta was my favorite. But don't sleep on the fruit pierogis! What a great way to end the meal with a small, sweet bite. They were outstanding!! 5 stars all the way around for this quaint mom and pop delight. I hope you can get there soon. Don't be silly like me and wait so long. There are too many good things to try!!
Such a great place to get authentic polish food. Golabkis just like my grandmother used to make! The service is good and they are very accommodating. My only negative is that I wish they had potato pancakes!
The food here is so delicious. There is a quaint atmosphere and it is clean. You can order at the counter for to go or eat in the little restaurant area. There is also lots of Polish decor in the place. The service was fast and efficient. If you love Polish food you will love this place.
A taste of home—this food is made with love and you can taste it!We had pickle soup (good but I can’t eat a whole bowl), borscht (wow wow wow), the plate with sausage (outside was crisped to perfection with a juicy inside—I was surprised how much I loved it), stuffed cabbage (filling and delicious). For pierogis I loved the potato and cheese, and the fruit ones — strawberry being my favorite. Sweet with the tartness of fresh strawberries. It’s *all* good, and the atmosphere and photos of Krakow in the hallway brought me back to the Christmas markets of Krakow. The server/chef is kind and welcoming—the kind of person you’d love to sip tea with and talk about the old country. Please give this place a visit—you won’t be disappointed.
Homemade Pierogies with a variety of flavor options! We opted for takeout, which was perfect as they come frozen with directions to reheat at home. Next time, we will need to dine-in!
