Crispy Basil Artisan Pizza - LATHAM

The best pizza in Latham, hands down. The toppings are fantastic, the cheese is top-notch, and the crust is excellent. Their wings are super tasty as well!

This superhero-themed pizza restaurant is memorable for its striking decor that evokes nostalgia for beloved characters. The service is reliable, though it doesn't make a strong impact. Regrettably, the pizza was a bit undercooked, and the flavor of the crispy chicken wings fell flat, which took away from what could have been an outstanding meal. Although the location resembles a neglected lot, the interesting theme, along with some enhancements in food quality and a boost in flavor, could turn this place into a true standout among pizza spots.

Good Vibes I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, despite the exterior not looking as appealing. Overall, I left feeling satisfied.

There is no shortage of pizza in the Albany area, each with its own personality. Crispy Basil has a distinct edge that pairs well with its artisan pizza selections. Showed up late on a Sunday night before an early morning flight and we were ecstatic to indulge these perfect pies. Excellent balance of cheese and sauce perfectly baked (just a little on the crispy side) and the toppings were generous. Some of the reviews appear “hit or miss” but we definitely hit a home run with these baked to order beauties!
