Franco's - Launceston

Yummy food served here. Have been a couple of times and always had a good meal. Get in early or book as it is not a large place.

I found the waiters really friendly yet they seemed in fear of their boss .I chose the fettachini carbarnara which was very nice ,then chose a french apple pie for sweets.I was very disappointed when it was served up with canned mock cream..

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The children's pizzas were not nice- bases seem frozen. The lasagne was basically just pasta- not very nice. The chicken okay and minestrone soup okay.

We recently stayed 3 nights in Launceston and ate at Francos' Italian Restaurant on the second night. The service was great, nothing was too much to ask for and they staff were more than happy to adjust the menu to my wife's taste. The food was traditional Italian and was brilliantly prepared and gourmet quality. We tried a Italian red wine recommended by the staff to go with our meal and were very happy with their choice.We were so impressed by the quality of the meal and the attention to the customers by the staff, despite the number or restaurants in Launceston we happily returned the following night to be greeted by the same good service and quality meals.Highly recommended if you enjoy great Italian food and service.

In Launceston for business. Went on a Wednesday night place was very busy. Pasta very tasty and service very quick, this was not my first visit was good last time and nothing has changed still very good.
