The lamb skewers from the hibachi were some of the most delicious skewers we have ever had outside of Japan. The well-curated wine list complements the food perfectly.
The restaurant was packed, so we opted to sit outside. Despite the chilly weather, we were pleased that we did. We enjoyed Sichuan Dumplings, Chicken Karaage, Tempura Cauliflower, and Beef Tartare - all of which were delicious! The drinks menu was also impressive, featuring local wines, shochu, and Sake. If I could make a suggestion to the owner, it would be to offer warm sake on the menu. The service was friendly and informed, and the food was superb. Thank you!
I came across Pachinko as a recommended restaurant on a Tasmania Travel website while planning our trip, and I'm so happy we dined here! It's a cozy and uncomplicated spot with a fantastic atmosphere. We couldn't make up our minds on what to order, so we opted for the Feed Me banquet, and they really outdid themselves! The modern Japanese fusion cuisine was truly some of the best we've had, with a menu that struck the perfect balance of flavors. We were so full from all the delicious food! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the Kingfish, Wontons, and the Chicken Karaage.
Favourite restaurant we went to in Launceston. Friendly team doing a modern take on Japanese. Steak tartare and onion rings were wow!
Finally, it's over to eat here tonight and will definitely go again! Japanese inspired menu with local products. The lamb shoots from the Hibachi were some of the quietest shoots we ever had outside Japan. Well thought out of wine alcohol list compliments the food.
