I especially loved the black lip abalone, truffled calamari. the less the part abit was small. the waitress had recommended pinot noir was in the did great wein. the price was abit expensive.
An amazing evening with great food and excellent service. oysters, harissa prawns, quail and baked snapper, but the highlight was dessert. would highly recommend.
My man and I probably had one of the best meals we've ever had here. we had a beautiful window seat on the Tamar River, delicious cocktails and even better eating. the cape Grim Eye fillet, which was served with garlic cutard, was the highlight – all the aromen worked so well together and the meat was boiled to perfection. the personal was also very attentive and professional. we would come back to lonnie to feed back to Stillwater.
We had the pleasure to start in Stillwater for two nights, with dinner there one night and brekky for both. the whole team really turned it on for us. so many small personal touches during the starts, whether it was supplied in our room with a sourded in front of our room, reach in the afternoon with the spiced popcorn, fill the milk in the refrigerator or the questionnaire we were asked to fill before we arrived there so that they could absorb all the smaller ones so that we feel special. the lightness in which everything was so smooth, the booking process, eating at Stillwater or the black cow. but what we loved was the quality of the place. the rooms were luxurious next door. this mini bar (and appropriately price the dinner was up there, as one of the best we had. so accessible and nested right next to the cataract gorge, I could not think of a better place. the pub about the process is also worth a look. bring us back to Stillwater! they make one like and pamper them next time in launceston. stay here and you'll thank me!
We enjoyed breakfast at Stillwater which is an old converted mill situated in a beautiful location, at the mouth of the Cataract Gorge, and the beginning of the Tamar river. The meals are sensational
