Delicious, with a crispy crust, fresh ingredients and NOT smothered in cheap cheese like many other pizza establishments. I never have that awful, bloated post-pizza feeling after eating WiseGuise. They taste less salty and are not greasy. There 's a great base menu to choose from: traditional, gourmet and signature pizzas. Also you can add or remove any ingredient so you get exactly the pizza you want. They also have a range of sides and desserts and the usual meal deals which are great for families. Staff are friendly, service is quick and the prices are very good.
Hadn 't ordered from here in over a year. Ordered 3 pizzas and two garlic breads. The pizzas were smothered in cheap, flavourless, greasy cheese, and *everything* was covered in dried oregano. The only pizza with any flavour was the Capriccioso though it was covered in anchovies and we asked for it without anchovies. The BBQ chicken pizza was pretty much identical to the 'waikiki ' (Hawaiian) there were very few toppings and almost no sauce. These pizzas were virtually inedible messes of cheese, dried oregano, and sparse and flavourless topping. The garlic breads (one cheesy, one standard) had copious amounts of the same dried oregano, and were almost inedible due to the overwhelming taste. The food was so bad that, despite messing up our order (putting anchovies on a pizza we didn 't want them on), we didn 't bother calling to complain because we were afraid they might offer to send us more food for free... we didn 't want to waste any more food, or anyone else 's time. Last time we had pizza from here (1 2 years ago) it was pretty good... I don 't know if they 've changed owners, but this wasn 't even comparable. Go literally anywhere else. Below is a photo of three different pizzas... Despite the very small amount of olives, and the unwanted anchovies, they were all indistinguishable. Note the obscene amount of dried oregano on these inedible things.
Got delivery of two pizzas for nearly $50. Last bought from them nearly a year ago. Devastated by how they have deteriorated. They used to be terrific gourmet pizzas now a tiny scattering of topping. Gone from one of the best to one of the worst pizzas in Launceston. Why ruin your product and reputation just to save a buck on each pizza?
We had planned to try the chicken pizza at our usual local pizza shop but it is closed Mondays I 'd heard how good Wiseguise were. We got a large BBQ chicken pizza, my husband is fussy with a lot of food, he kept repeating himself, well that was probably the best pizza I 've had for a while . great base, plenty of filling on top tasted great. It was ready 20 mins after phone order to collect.
Normally the pizza and service is great, but after ordering one night and finding out it would take awhile I called to cancel. They promised a refund at the time, but nothing appeared in my account in the proceeding days. I followed up about a week later again asking for a refund and was told they would check with the store in question and go from there. Again, nothing in my account. I've given up, I don't care about the money anymore, it's not worth my time and hassle to chase.
