Hearty's Chinese - Laurel

Always a great experience. I moved to Laurel in 2016, and since then, the restaurant has been consistently working hard to improve in every aspect.

If you’re looking for excellent Chinese food in Laurel without any frills or fuss, this is the place to go! I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had here. The sesame chicken, egg foo young, pepper steak, and chicken wings with mambo sauce are all fantastic! It would definitely earn five stars if the atmosphere were a bit better.

I highly recommend the shrimp basket and fries. The shrimp and fries are generously portioned for the price. However, the flavors of the other dishes were just average and could use some improvement. Additionally, there were no restrooms available for customers, so it’s a good idea to call ahead before your visit.

The best fried chicken wings and ff! eating is still as good as it was when we moved out of new york 20 years ago. this is really close to ny Chinese eating as they can get!

I love the shrimp broccoli!!! Its always a plus and I usually get fried rice with it .
