Colborne's Fries - Laurentian Valley

I had the worst poutine ever at this restaurant. The fries looked pale yellow and seemed undercooked. They were not fresh either. The server asked me if I wanted shredded or melted cheese, which was odd for a Canadian fry stand. The gravy was sticky and burned, without covering the fries or melting the cheese properly. I added bacon to the poutine, but it was just crumbled bits that seemed store-bought. I have tried poutines from all over the area, and this was the worst. I would recommend going to PJ's or Ry's for a better poutine experience.

Not the best. Very consistent cooking. Later, the pommes were boiled in large batches and then reheated several times, making them overcooked and greasy. News flash for you Colborne's, no one takes care of fresh pommes longer. Last two times I tried her, the severity was just kongealed goop! Earlier was a regular woman who cooked a lot, and she was phenomenal, but she didn't see her in a while. Owners, instead of accepting constructive criticism, insult your long-term customers. My 80-year-old just asked for fresh fries, not reheated, and you told her to take her business elsewhere, seriously?!? Look at you! Maybe you should take some training as a small entrepreneur because the way you talk to your customers is unacceptable! Come with Colborne's, you've been the best in the valley and sadly you've become the worst. Get your act together!!!!

What about Colborns Gravy? It is usually dark, thick tasty! Tonit, when we went the severity, was really light brown, thin and tasteless: It's bad enough, the prices are so high to start with, but if you don't get what your... expectations it really does to spend the money! Is it bad to expect consistency when ordering u food?

Great food. Fast friendly service, The place is very clean and neatly kept. This was not our first visit nor will it be our last. The food is served hot and in large portions. We really enjoy their fish and chip and have enjoyed othe...items on the menu.

Called and waited 30 minutes. If .50 was advertised more than a prize, my Koleslaw also didn't get. So no debit had to use their money machine that charged me 2.00 and whatever my bank asks me. Wasn't worth the price and...wait My cat wouldn't even eat the piece of fish I offered him.
