It was quite unpleasant. They even charge me for the food that have bugs inside
I go to this restaurant quite often. They offer mostly Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. Since the people running the restaurant are Vietnamese, please stick with the Vietnamese dishes. The Chinese dishes are just not right... Anyway, I love their pho. The quality varies a bit, sometimes it's OK, sometimes great, but mostly it is good. Guess it depends on if the cook has a good day. I like it they offer 4 kinds of pho. I like the standard one and the spicy one. The one with beef hachee is more for niche lovers of this kind of meat. The service is good: friendly and efficient. Nothing over the top. It is also nice that you can sit outside here and eat, although I find it fascinating how many people in Lausanne smoke so you may have to handle eating outside while at the next table they are smoking and the smoke is blowing towards your table. This happens more often than not in my cases. Check it out, it's worth it.
Fabulous green curry, amazing soups, fast and kind service, busy but nice ambient. toilets need attention though, they are way below the restaurant level
If you have not tried the bbq buffet in this place, you must try it. Their bbq only includes 3 types of meat and 1 type of seafood(of course there are vegetables and other supplements : pork, chicken, beef and shrimp. The shrimps are especially clean and succulent. All the meat and seafood are well-marinated in the Vietnamese way, as species and lemon juice balance out the typical fatty feel of bbq. If you do not know about Vietnamese species, try to imagine the combination between Chasselas wine and Gruyère cheese. I was well received by a very friendly Vietnamese gentleman, Phu. If you have questions about how to eat a proper Vietnamese bbq, he would be there to answer all your questions. I would definitely come back next time with friends once my meat-craving is on the doorstep.
Good quality food, great variety and the food is made at the time of the order. The day I was eating there, I've seen some funny locals, but overall the atmosphere was nice and the service was spot on.
