If you have eaten anything authentic, anything from California or Texas, or any of the good restaurants in salt lake (Red Iguana, Lone Star Taqueria, or even Cafe Rio, etc)...don't bother considering this place. There is no flavor to the dishes, no spice, nothing unique...its just bland and disappointing. Second, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Fajitas, which don't have close to the amount of meat you would get anywhere else (even Chilis) are The simple burrito plates and taco plates vary from to If they are going to charge high end prices, they need to actually back it up with some good food. In the part I was in, I tried fajitas, burritos, tacos, and enchiladas...the results were consistently poor. Our meal for our family of five was before tip. Be prepared for that.Last, they engage in some pretty interesting practices not listed or spelled out anywhere on the menu. Namely, the number of entrees at the table must match the number of people. If not, you will be charged for an extra entree if everyone ate chips and salsa. This was told to us after everyone was eating chips and salsa. There is no price listed for chips and salsa so, believe it or not, you will pay full price for a kids entree if your year old eats a single chip but doesn't have a meal for themselves! Please do yourself a favor, save yourself some money and head over to Cafe Rio or Chipotle, the food is better tasting and much more affordable.
We came as a family of adults and at we reserved ahead of time to give ample time for heads up in case they were busy we expected a wait time how ever it took the waitress minutes to bring our drinks and came meal time after the restaurant was empty we still haven't received our food when it came at were wrong my meal was wrong food and i have never been one to send food back im to nice and shy my husbands food was cold dry beef jerky my kid didn't get her meal the other ate the wrong order to be nice in all me and husband didn't eat and left at with nothing but chips that had no bean dip and asked other waiters very nicely to refill it my poor mom stuck with the check and it had multiple mistakes and over charged sides to a non existing kids meal drinks and cantinas it was the worst mistake dinner we have ever had i assume eating in mexico with out knowing the language a mistake or not with being ignored for over and hour and walking out after hours broke and hungry the poor baby didn't even get her cheese melted like all the adults everything was wrong and cold i just cant say any more without crying im so shocked right now .i would have gave a star to the waitress but she over charged so much like it was her night working the star was for a roof over our head during a rain storm (sorry if any miss spellings im very frustrated typing fast
That was delicious. The crushed Burritos were great, and I loved those who brought me water havearo salsa.
Really good food and very consistently great atmosphere and they play Mexican music as well as overhead and was very beautiful. We had veggie fajitas, veggie chimichanga.
My husband, father-in-law I really enjoyed. Your prices are also fair. My husband I ever got Strawberry Margaritas shared the Cantina Molcajete plus everything you can eat Salsa Bar.
