Campanile Porte D'Italie Restaurant

We really enjoyed our meal hereSeated promptly and gave us time to look through menu.

Although the menu del día was slightly pricey (20 euros), the food here did not disappoint.

The restaurant provides several options for breakfast and dinner and this was a great way to get fueled up for a long day of touring. However, the food was not great, it was simply good! Multiple times I left the restaurant still hungry, but that option was better than what was being served and that was tragic. I would not recommend this hotel or restaurant to travelers as there are better options that are more cost effective and closer to the city center.

We were staying with 9 of us in Campanile hotel and had lunch and dinner at the restaurant.They have a weird way of cheating guests: they present you three buffets (entrees, main and dessert, with entrees and desserts jammed together in just one table) and in very poor English they explain you that you can take food just from two of them.We did not understand them and three of us took some slices of beef (main), some salad (entrees) and then one took ONE PEACH, one a cup of strawberries and the third some slices of pineapple.The blonde girl at the desk saw this and without re-advising and re-explain the (stupid) concept charged 10 euros times 5 people (when only three of us took a dessert, and as I said it was just some pieces of fruit each). Result: we had to pay 50 euros more for: one peach, a cup of strawberries and some slices of pineapple. In the meal after that, when we all understood the "rule", she still came and contested our dishes.20 Euro/person/meal is not a low price, let at least people eat in peace and what they want... You leave with the feeling that they just wanted to cheat you!!!!!!!!Very bad and annoying experience there, not to do again.

Had a buffet style breakfast. The menu choices were far above what is typically offered in a continental breakfast. Can never get accustomed to the coffee in Europe but beyond that the food was very good.
