I had the moules et frites and my partner had the bavette. The moules were succulent with...plenty of juice. The bavette (although supposedly a cheap cut) was tender and cooked perfectly. A place you should visit.
My wife and I were part of a large group of former British servicemen gathered to Verdun sur Mer for a memorial ceremony. Lunch was arranged at this nearby restaurant which proved to be an excellent choice. These larger type group lunches are sometimes difficult...to get right so it was our great pleasure to find this one brilliantly organised and with really great staff. The guests were served each of the set courses almost all at once, a great effort. The food was very generous, extremely well cooked and nicely presented. The speciality seems to be seafood so one day I would like to return on our own to sample the a la carte menu..Great setting near the ferry terminal and very welcoming.
We used this Brasserie when we visited the lighthouse ,nice friendly staff good food nice to sit out or you could sit in doors plenty of sitting nice clean toilets ,just by the ferry port so lots of people coming and going along the road
This is the best of the lower priced restaurants at the port in the Le Verdon. There is a very large choice of menus at a very popular location. The owner is friendly and the foos is good. Very good price-quality relation. It's also the...last place before the ferry and the view to Royan.
