So expensive for food. the barsch was good, but the hamburger was nothing spectacular. almost $60 for cash and hamburger meals. the guy who runs it is nice. only cash so prepared. there is also only a small view of the lake.
Wonderful owner....great! the first time I ever had perch and it was the best fish and chips I ever had. not oily, great at home made batteries and really amazing riders. I also had his caption falafel and it was amazing....mmmmmm, ask them if he share the tahini sauce recipe he used up. beautiful view of the sea and very friendly service. thanks for the experience.
The only redemption and hope for this facility is it close to the entrance of the park. Plan ahead if they do not want to overpriced average dug in a dirty environment with sticky, scattered decoration. they seem to pay attention to who used their bathroom then. keep the restaurant clean or focus on the quality of food. I'm sorry, but give this to you.
On my way out of Point Pelee National Park, I stopped at Ship Ahoy. It is the last restaurant before you reach the park and the first one when exiting (great location! . I was warmly welcomed when I entered. I ordered the Fish Tacos which...were made fresh by Hanna. They were DELICIOUS! It was also a sweet spot to look at the water on one side and a little farm on the other. Although I didn't order ice cream I saw a nice range of flavours of Chapman's ice cream, and poutine and hot chocolate were also available. A really nice little spot and not too crowded!
