Fatty's Taphouse - Leavells

FANTASTIC seafood spot! We got oysters on the half shell, steamed shrimp, and crab soup plus some sides and everything was spot-on. It was carry out, but the staff I interacted with were all very friendly and it seemed like a nice spot to eat-in.

I decided to give the restaurant another chance and was pleased to find that the food was fabulous. I particularly enjoyed the fries. The IPA selection had improved and the staff were still delightful. I have raised my rating by 1 star and will definitely be back. Thank you.

The food was improved this time. I have been a regular customer for years, and I was glad that it wasn't overly salty this time. The only problem was that my oyster basket was disappointing, so I had to send it back.

This restaurant has become our favorite spot! You have to try the gumbo and steam pots. We tried the dollar oysters and they were delicious. We love the variety of beers on the wall and the service is excellent.

The Fatty's burger was bland and overcooked. The server wrote down the wrong order for my wife and proceeded to charge us for the order she wrote down, $20+ price difference. The server was hard to find. The beer system was neat, but was fairly flat and warm. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
