Pim's Thai Orchid - Lebanon

We had visited a museum outside of town and were passing through Lebanon, VT en route to our afternoon itinerary. We had not had Thai food yet on our trip so this place seemed like a good bet. It is located on a fairly major street, but has only a small parking lot out front. Luckily, someone was leaving as we were pulling in, so we didn't have to look elsewhere for parking. It appeared that you could park on some nearby side streets, though. The restaurant looks like it has been around a while, but also looks like it has been refreshed remodeled fairly recently. We got seated promptly. It seemed like we arrived during the weekday lunch rush. Our server seemed a bit grim maybe she was just having a bad day. Other staffers seemed more cheerful. I went with Pad Thai, as it is a good standard dish for comparing. I think it came with soup as a side. The soup was good. The Pad Thai was okay, but just seemed...under flavored. I finished it, and it was on the spicy side, but somehow a bit bland too. I think my wife liked her dish reasonably well. If I were passing through here again, I might revisit and try some alternate dish (maybe a curry). I did enjoy reading their drink menu (on a sort of flip card arrangement on the table) including Phuket Island Iced Tea. They appeared to have a full bar, though we didn't partake.

The order came out wrong. The beans are not cooked properly. They included taxes when calculating tip amounts. A restaurant where they see tips in front of your eyes with a card reader. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

The food was delicious. I didn't expect to find food this good in a small town. Highly recommend the drive if you're in the area

Went on a Sunday evening, and boy was the place hopping! Waited for about 30 minutes for our group of 5. We tried their Pho, Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, Thom Kha, Duck Crispy Delight and Fried Ice Cream. Everything was pretty good, except for the Duck Crispy Delight, which was pricey and underwhelming. My daughter, who loves duck, said it was mid . Food came out pretty fast, but service was a bit brusque. I guess the staff were tired and getting cranky at this point. Would go back again if we are ever in the area.

Very poor service, the waitress did not care about and never did her job right in first place. I will not return here ever again. The owner need to be aware and train the employees correctly.
