A combination of high tables, a few lower chairs and tables, and a long bar, there’s a perch to suit everybody, and the music is retro funky, perfect for setting a carefree mood.
The menu is small but what we had on there was delicious and for a bar, its the perfect size. There was only 3 or so vego options, so the chef happily whipped up a special for our vegetarian diner. The staff are very friendly and knowledge which added to the fun vibe.
Next minute you are dancing the night away!My first impression was well this is a little pretentious but as the night rolls on the drinks start flowing and the DJ enters all pretence is lost!!! I had a great time getting my 80s on. The food was exciting and the wine list excellent.
We enquired about the size of the small bites, and the bartender gave us the accurate explanation of two would feed two people, or three if you're really hungry. We got three, and that was certainly enough. The pork belly was delicious and soft, and a good serving for the price. The truffle mac and cheese was filling and nice. The chorizo and cheese kransky was a little spicy (not a bad thing! , and comes with lemon. It would be good if it came with a sauce, as it was a little basic for $12. The Sunday special of $30 for a barman's board and bottle of wine was pretty tempting, and I'd be confident that it's decent value.
Just found the best place in Leederville for a great night out. The food was amazing, we had a variety of tapas dishes and the sweet potato chips are the best I've ever had. We loved our cocktails and the service was incredibly friendly. Music was great especially when the DJ came in later. Will definetely be back.
