Serving sizes were generous and the vegetarian options were interesting and vibrant not at all like the usual vego stuff that you get at many Indian restaurants. I'll be returning, a great venue for a group of friends catching up.
Firstly the food was okay, but do not upset the waiter, otherwise your order will be put.back. You will have to wait for over an hour and a half like we did. When we got there was only four other people there, everyone got served with food but us. As more people came in they all got served but us. When we final got our food we were told that the food had to be made fresh. So that is why it took so long. So I guess everyone else was not served fresh food only us? Because no one else had to wait as long as us.? We will not go there again their curries are okay, but not as good as many other curry places in Perth.
We ordered takeout from this restaurant and enjoyed it so much that we decided to dine in. For starters, we ordered chicken and prawn dishes. The chicken was fantastic, perfectly seasoned with a nice char. The portions were generous, so we only ordered one curry to share. We chose a lamb curry with cucumber raita and roti. The lamb curry was delicious, tender, and cooked slowly with a refreshing tamarind flavor. I appreciate Indian curries that have distinct, fresh flavors that can be recognized individually. The restaurant allows BYO, which is great. I highly recommend this place and give it 5 stars.
Tonight, my partner and I dined at this restaurant and found it to be too pricey for Indian cuisine. We started with the wobble bahji, which were delicious and had a nice level of spiciness. However, our experience went downhill with the netzen. The lamb corma only had 5 small pieces of lamb that were tough to chew, and the sauce was overly sweet. We found it so unappetizing that we couldn't eat it. The bark jalfrazi was also disappointing, as it was very dry. The nan bread was the only highlight, but overall we were not impressed with the meal, especially considering the $100 price tag.
I have been searching for a good Indian restaurant in Perth, and this place is excellent! We order from here regularly, take away the food, and sometimes dine in. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are very flavorful, and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend trying the butter chicken!
