Forgot to take pictures because we ate so fast. The food was fantastic. Nice intense flavors with just enough heat. They were happy to make any dish at any spice level.
É uma experiência zafari de sabores Tem tempero para quem aguenta
I didn 't have great expectations when first stepping in, but this place just blew me away. It was hands down the best indian food I 've ever had. Be mindful of the spice levels, this place has some india-spicy level of heat, which is awesome. Mild should be more than enough for most people; the server will let you try it on the side if you wish, he was also very friendly and attentive without being intrusive, it was perfect. Stand outs for me were the garlic and cheese naan and the lamb vindaloo. We shared a couple of deserts and they are worth a try. We had a carrot pudding, that again with zero expectations from reading it on the menu, turned out to be really really good. The draft beer could be better, maybe I just got some from the bottom of the barrel, but I 'd stick with bottled one to be sure. The restaurant has this perfect charm to it that makes you feel at home, or like you 've been transported to a restaurant in the backroads of someplace else. It isn 't the prettiest, but it isn 't by all means bad, it 's the real deal. They also have plenty of vegetarian options and you can choose plates without heat. The price, quality and experience you get there make this #1 in my books. I 'll definitely keep coming back and wish all the best to the business and staff!
This was our second visit to Leiria in 8months and our second visit to Everest Inn. Truly a delicious meal on both occasions! The lamb chops were amazing in November and almost as good in June... the curries are delicious and the service is friendly and welcoming. A must try if you are in Leiria!!
