Contribuisci feedbackVisited the restaurant (meson) during a family visit. Restaurant smelled of B.O. and was too hot we had to ask for the AC to be turned on (this helped quite a bit). First course was poor (gisantes) luke warm and very dry. I could have cooked it better myself. Second course was mediocre (filete de cerdo) part of it was undercooked. Service was initially very poor, improving to mediocre by the end. All in all very disappointing.
We sat on the terrace and ordered from the menu of the day menu which stood out for the amazing value considering the lovely dishes on offer. Very well presented and good sized portions and tasted delicious. The deserts were amazing, served in lovely sundae dishes and obviously freshly prepared. Oh and coffee included too! This is a hotel restaurant and definitely stands out from the crowd! Only thing they could perhaps improve on is to check the outside diners and terrace area more often?
I ate here whilst staying nearby when working in the city. I opted for the menu del dia, which was very reasonably priced. The food was excellent and very promptly served. Service was efficient albeit not overly welcoming.
Seated outside in part sun part shade. Did set menu for 14 euros which was 3 courses, tea/ coffee, bottle of water and bottle of wine. Total bill 28 euros no extras such good value. Waiter very helpful, good English. Obviously busy hotel restaurant. Food excellent starters of background n salad and calamari with croquettes. Mains fish salad and veal chop with fries and salad (huge). Only one desert ordered as we were so full. Toilets clean tidy. Would recommend for a Sunday lunch about 2 pm.
