La Traverse - Les Estables

After we had spent almost two weeks in France and had eaten too many three or more meals, we decided that a light lunch was in order. this restaurant offers a plate for 11,5 euro. the plate du jour this day was steak au poivre,...chips and salat. the menu consisted of simple dressing, with a reasonable weinlist. we choose the steakfriten who were in order. the house wine was drinkable and cheap. it was convenient to eat here, but not very inspiring. a tip I would pass on is that eating out on the terrace is the best option, as the wooden chairs are very unpleasant inside. another thing is that the restaurant does not accept cards, only cash. it was in order, but no place to revise. there are good parking places close to the square.

A simple, copied kitchen without originality but served with kindness and professionalism, for reasonable prices...The decoration of the mountain style room is basic, even sober..The terrace is exposed north (allas), so, apart from the beautiful summer days, it remains unrecommended, let's not forget that we are at 1,343 meters (these are the highest central town of the commune).

Good for a dish of the day we didn’t expect miracles but good frozen fries well too cooked and poultry too dry, forced to add ketchup and mayo to gogo and dessert to the height, it did much. reception or more or less after I judge only on a dish I did not taste the fondue for example but I will not go back to try and we are high loire

I agree with the opinion "you have to change your profession" very unpleasant, not welcoming, we have the impression of disturbing it. not good at all, frozen it is certain.But really, what we have the most marked is the service that has been really pitiful.de plus, very expensive for what it is. pass your way and go to buy you a more vival sandwich.
