In busy weeks at this resort you can get a real pressure '2 sitting' feeling. No such approach here. We had a reservation for 7.30 and were still comfortable there at 10 am. Maybe you don't go to busy times when you're on a tight schedule, but it's perfect for us.
It was really difficult to get a table in Les Gets about the New Year's Week, this was our last option, really happy that we could book a table. The food was great and something for everyone from traditional Alpine food to fantastic burgers and pasta.
Nice little bar to stop off at for a game of cards and a couple of drinks In the sun and was relatively quiet so seating isn’t an issue. Not directly in the centre just past the ice rink but if you are looking...for a pleasant atmosphere this place is ideal. Top tip: Obviously this is weather dependant but both times we visited the bar the sun went behind the adjacent mountains at around 8:15pm so sitting inside after this time is advised.
It's early season so quiet in Lea Gets. This restaurant offers seating inside and out. The terrace area is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Staff were really friendly and there was a good selection of food on the menu. The burgers were really good; cooked perfectly. Portions were generous and pricing similar to other places (€15 or thereabouts for a main). Would definitely come again knowing that I was going to get a great meal.
We're currently on our annual ski holiday and this time decided to visit the Alpine Tavern as it was located opposite our chalet. The food was OUTSTANDING; service incredible, and all of the staff are extremely friendly. We had a mixture of dietary requirements within our group and nothing (and I mean nothing) was an issue. Extremely accommodating to no end; they even created my very own little dessert as I wasn't too keen on eating a full one. If you are planning a trip to Les Gets anytime soon I would highly recommend visiting. We even booked to come back a few days later before departing home. If you're looking for any recommendations I would highly suggest the following (all tried and tested within our group - apologies for not remembering the exact names of each dish but hopefully this will help):Fondue (meat 300g with red wine broth and another with cheese)Local French Onion soup (local specialty)Alpine Burger Veal stew Three meat grill5stars all of the way.
