The Orchard - Lewisham

I went to the restaurant last night for a friend's birthday dinner. It was quite busy and unfortunately, the kitchen was backed up, so we had to wait a long time to order. We were a bit worried, but it turned out we didn't need to be! Nat saved the day by giving us some delicious bread and padron peppers while we waited and provided us with excellent service, so all was forgiven. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely return, especially if Nat is our server again! x

We enjoyed a late family lunch at this chic bar/pub/eatery and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is very good and reasonably priced, and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. I was promptly served, and the food was delicious.

Came here for my dads birthday meal on a random Tuesday. It was very busy and it took ages for the waitress to come and take our food order. The food then took ages to arrive and was very sub par. My main arrived and my burger was way undercooked when I specifically asked for it to be well done. I think the chef had just had enough and couldn’t be bothered to be honest. My chips tasted undercooked too. I sent the burger back and it took ages to come back and when it did it was basically cremated and inedible. The only plus was that our waitress was lovely and very apologetic and they gave my dad a free glass of bubbly and took my burger of the bill.

Came here for lunch with some friends. The resturant is decorated nicely and we had a large table which was helpful with prams and babies. The staff were friendly and the small menu had good options which change regularly , which is usually a good sign that things are fresh.
