Hy-vee Market Grille Express - Liberty

Huge store. We'll stocked. Store saving money with few workers means long time at checkout.

The Hy vee bar is not what it started out at. Corporate needs to stop running things. We used to love going to the bar at 9 after grocery shopping ......no more You chase out the bar tenders who created the draw.....we could order a pizza and eat it at the bar.....damn it…you Iowa people with a college degree....stop thinking you know what is best.

Do not go here for breakfast!!!! Sat there for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged we sat down. Then when we asked if we could order we were told oh sorry it's going to be awhile because everyone showed up all at once. I had a 2 year old and 10 month with me. They cant wait an hour for food. Service here is POOR!!!

Even though the menu is limited now that they have changed to Express it's still good food.

Food was very subpar, bland and cold. They brought out a fresh burger but it wasn't anything to write home about. The lady behind the bar and server provided good service.
