Contribuisci feedbackRomantic weekend via a Smartbox. Very warm welcome although this is not always the case with this type of reservation. The setting is calm and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and we had the opportunity to take it outside to enjoy the sun before winter arrived. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. We will surely come back with friends because the clos is ideally placed for exploring Chinon or touring the cellars. Rooms: 5
Very disappointed by the welcome my parents received from you. It's not their fault if you didn't receive the smartbox reservation! They were deprived of the candlelight dinner and we had a deplorable reception!! Thinking of enjoying the swimming pool while waiting to collect their rooms at 5 p.m. Surprise this one was broken it would have been nice to warn in advance or make a small gesture but no instead of that you were unpleasant. If you don't like people who book with smartbox, don't list your establishment!
Welcome, calm, good food under the direction of Martine Descamps introduced us to a very beautiful region. To remember JP and Jeanine Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Great value
Very nice room. Excellent welcome. Good advice for discovering the region. Beautiful setting.
Le clos de Ligré is a beautiful property from the mid-19th century made up of an old farm, the master's house and outbuildings. The whole is completely renovated with the character preserved. The large courtyard is surrounded by a collection of superb climbing roses. The swimming pool at the rear of the estate is quite large and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated. We booked 5 rooms for 3 nights as part of a family reunion for a wedding anniversary and had 2 meals there. The meals are just okay, and the high price is not justified. I should point out that the dinner table is set in the courtyard. Like the first evening, we were chilled by the ambient 15 -16 degrees; for the second meal we asked to eat inside, which was obtained after intense negotiations. We do not seem to have been difficult hosts, the children were adorable, we participated at every moment in the service to make life easier for our hostess and we were always courteous. Despite this, we can only deplore a haughty and icy, even derogatory welcome from Madame Descamps. No welcome drink for the reception of a group of 10 people, no special attention or delicacy. ...! PS: for meals, Chinon has many quality restaurants where you can find a good quality meal for the price of Clos du Ligré, but with a warm welcome included!
