So, I highly recommend making a reservation. Regarding gluten-free options, they provide a separate allergen menu that details all the menu items along with their allergens, making it easy to identify which options are suitable for those with celiac disease. I opted for the Ham and Mushroom Mascarpone Pizza, which used a store-bought Schär pizza base—a familiar choice for those of us on a gluten-free diet, as many restaurants do. My partner, who is dairy-free, ordered the seafood linguine without cheese, and it was relatively simple to find a dairy-free option. It's important to specify that you want the gluten-free option when requesting the allergen menu, but the staff member who served us was very friendly and accommodating. However, I do have some concerns about the measures in place to prevent cross-contamination. While I would expect that to be considered, especially for a chain restaurant with gluten-free offerings, I didn’t get a clear sense that it was being actively managed.
I chose the Ham and Mushroom Mascarpone pizza, and for the gluten-free version, they used the Schär pizza base, which many of us on gluten-free diets are familiar with, as it’s quite common in restaurants serving gluten-free pizzas. My partner, who is dairy-free, enjoyed the seafood linguine without cheese, so we found it relatively easy to select dairy-free options as well. It’s important to specify that you want the gluten-free option even when using the Allergen Menu. The staff member who helped us was very friendly and accommodating. However, I’m not sure about the measures in place to prevent cross-contamination, but I would expect a restaurant, especially a chain, to take this into consideration when offering gluten-free options.
Not bad for a chain restaurant. This location is a great Italian eatery, and it's the second one I've visited in Lincoln. This place is a higher-end chain and has never disappointed me. It's much better than the restaurant next door. They often have a 2-for-1 main meal voucher available online, so it's worth looking for one (check sites like Vouchercloud). It's always popular, well-decorated, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I recommend it for affordable dining.
