However, after returning seven years later, I was disappointed to find that the quality of the food has dramatically declined. I now prefer a nearby unknown restaurant over this one. The establishment needs to focus on improving both the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere.
We began with a delicious pre-appetizer of marinated olives that were green and flavorful. The zitrus smoked salmon appetizer was a fantastic way to begin our meal. For our main courses, my partner and I ordered the nativity and cadjau dishes. Both dishes were beautifully presented, although the cod lacked a bit of flavor. We would definitely consider dining here again.

We were here on New Year's Eve. The food was consistent and great. Everyone was happy with their choices from the fish to the slow roasted pork belly. Starters and desserts were equally good. I loved that despite it being NYE you could still order from the a la carte menu rather than being forced into a set menu. Service was friendly and perfectly efficient when called on. The staff could do a slightly better job of being proactive about clearing old plates and wine glasses but we can put that down to them being distracted on NYE and keen to get home to their families and friends!
