Pizza with spinach was average. Server was nice and attentive, even though she was busy. Typical hotel restaurant. Pricy, but convenient.
Breakfast service is a joke, they offer what they want, staff told me to go get my own refill on coffee, it was empty. Only than did they refill it. Would recommend going 2 minutes up the street to Cracker Barrel.
Stayed here for military duty while guarding the Capital. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. I had great breakfast everyday and I also had an awesome cheeseburger. Chef Sam and his crew were awesome!!
The food was great. The service was absolutely horrible. They were not busy at all and the bartender had to be pulled away from his phone, tv, etc to even get the most basic of things. Do not recommend and wish I walked to the neighboring hotel to eat. Never even offered another drink when clearly mine was empty. I don't usually leave negative reviews but certainly warranted in this case.
I participated in a group tour called Honor Flights, which I highly recommend to all veterans from World War II and beyond, at this Hilton Hotel. The breakfast featured a standard self-service buffet with items like sausages, bacon, and scrambled eggs. It was pleasant, but nothing remarkable. We didn’t have lunch at the hotel. Dinner consisted of hearty dishes (chicken breast one night and short ribs the next), but there were no other options available. Again, nothing exceptional, except for the desserts—cheesecake and cherry pie—both of which were quite good. The first night included table service, while the second was a buffet. Alcoholic beverages were not included in the meal. While it’s not a destination for an exciting dining experience, keep in mind that this was a group event with limited meal choices, so it’s hard to judge what a regular restaurant meal would be like. In terms of prices, it appears to be somewhat pricey, but given its proximity to Washington, DC, which is known for high prices, that’s not surprising.
