The sweet potato fries on the side were delicious, but there weren't enough for the price of £4! My friend got the vegan superfood salad, but it was very small for £9 and also had feta cheese in it. The staff were apologetic and gave us a free drink, but we weren't interested in trying more food. Overall, the portions were small, the food was bland, and it was expensive. I would recommend going for drinks, but finding a different place for food. There are much better options nearby.
There are plenty of vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. The burgers are delicious, and I would definitely suggest trying the cauliflower wings - I couldn't get enough of them!
The beer at this restaurant is outstanding. I had a delicious vegan Haystack breakfast that included toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, guacamole, spicy beans, and a large and delicious seitan steak on top. It was excellent.
Delicious HAIL SEITAN burger. Unfortunately I am used to bigger portion for the price. What absolutely blow my mind were sweet potato fries!! The best!!
We each had a seitan steak burger with chips tasty and fun, especially the avocado topping, although the seitan was rather realistic in terms of fake meat texture! Relaxing spot for a drink and meal, and dog friendly : sweet and friendly staff, reasonable prices. We sat in a booth but place is spacious, light and airy, so doesn't feel overly bar like. There were two vegetarian hotdog options (including the hilariously named soy division and one vegan option, andwe opted for a veggie one made vegan without the mayo. Great location tucked away just off Bold Street.
