This Korean takeaway business is located near the business district of the city center, just a short walk from the james street railway station. this Korean takeaway shop has a much needed renovation and expansion since I last tried (before the pandemic.) earlier there were no sitting opportunities and they had to take their food away, but now there are a few inside and outside seats and tables in the load to eat. with the extension there was also a change on the menu, unfortunately the bibimbap, kimchi pancake and tteokbokki were removed that were my go-to favorites when I visited. that was a shock for me and I know that I will come less because that. I had to remove a star because of it, but it's just my personal opinion. Nevertheless, eating is still great and is still cooked by the flowing마 (auntie) and 아 (uncle!). I ordered the mega chicken, it costs £7.70 for dinner. the mega chicken is cooked in its homemade sauce, which tastes sweet and slightly spicy. Overall, eating is still great and the prices are still amazing for an authentic Korean meal. I would recommend this Korean farewell to others, although some traditional Korean dishes are removed from the menu.
Fab small place. beautiful staff. Mega sauce is my personal favorite and I am a veggie, so have the crispy tofu. portions are big and my carnivorous lunches attendees rate the huh very high to
They always come to the mega chicken. so tasty and crispy with rice and sauce.
This place is a treasure. The food is SO delicious. I recently got popcorn chicken after they reopened and nearly cried tears of joy. Well worth the walk for pickup. The owners also clearly care about the safety of their staff and customers with their safety barriers and low contact ordering and pickup. Everyone is always super friendly and fast.
Food is delicious and so reasonably priced. I go there every time I'm in Liverpool for a really filling lunch for about a fiver. After a recommendation from a local I went for the chicken katsu with mega sauce on rice. Bizarre name but gorgeous
