This charming find in Cheapside offers a small, reasonably priced Italian menu. The dishes are authentic and provide great value. I would gladly make the trek across town just to have lunch here – it's definitely worth it!
My partner stumbled upon Cose Buone purely by chance, and we were delighted she did. This quaint eatery is a gateway to a Sicilian grandmother's kitchen, offering an authentic taste of traditional dishes from southern Italy. The last arancina I enjoyed that was this delicious was in Messina, Sicily. I highly recommend stopping by to savor a coffee, chat with the staff, and sample the delectable offerings on Cose Buone's menu. You're sure to be impressed! Just a word of caution try not to overindulge. Southern Italian cuisine, while irresistible, isn't famed for its healthfulness.
We initially visited this restaurant because their cannolis looked delicious. And they did not disappoint! We returned for lunch today and once again had a fantastic experience. The staff is very friendly. We ordered their meal deal (pizza, fries, and a drink) along with some cannolis. They kindly offered to refrigerate the cannolis so they wouldn't melt. I believe the prices are surprisingly low considering the quality of the food. We absolutely love this place.
We decided to grab a quick lunch at this restaurant and we are so happy we did. The food quality is excellent, with a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price. The dishes are fresh, authentically prepared, and made with high-quality ingredients. This restaurant is a hidden gem and I will definitely return next time I am in Liverpool.
