Pizza Inn - Liverpool

On Wednesday evening during half term, the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. We had expected it to be busier, but most of the patrons were seated in the conservatory area, which overlooks the back garden and features table benches and a small playground. The staff were all delightful, providing friendly and efficient service. The table waitress was attentive and the bar staff were very sociable. The prices may be a bit higher than a chain like Wetherspoons, but the quality and quantity of the food make it worth it. I tried the jackfruit wings and cheese pie with a hint of chili, and both were delicious. I also enjoyed a pint of Strongbow, which cost £5.20, while sitting outside with a tub of ice cream - the banana split flavor was particularly impressive. The outdoor seating area includes a section in the front and another around the side that is more family-friendly, near a enclosed playground with a climbing frame for children. The restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere, and the music selection was entertaining, ranging from songs from the 40s and 50s that I remembered my grandparents singing, to modern tunes that added a fun twist. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely be returning, especially since the kids enjoy it as well.

We gathered with friends and family at The Bowling Green for a dear friend's wake. Beforehand, we enjoyed a delicious and affordable lunch. The staff, especially Mia, were exceptional and went above and beyond to assist us. They efficiently served a large group of people with drinks and provided a tasty buffet spread. Their help made the occasion more manageable and we highly recommend The Bowling Green for any event.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a family lunch. There are lots of activities for children to enjoy, and the food is delicious. If you prefer a child-free area, they also offer that option. Despite being short-staffed, the employees were all exceptional, handling multiple tasks to ensure the restaurant ran smoothly and customers were satisfied. They truly are an asset to the establishment!

Fantastic family meal, four adults with the option to sit in an adult only area away from children, our meals were hot and plentiful my only grumble was that I noticed on getting home that we had been over charged for one of our meals, it was fish Friday and we were charged the full menu price and not the Friday reduced offer but that was the only gripe the chicken buttermilk burgers were beautiful and the ultimate bbq was to big to be finished. A good family meal definitely will call again x

We have been here to the bowling green at least 5 times, and every single time get the same experience which the only way to describe it as perfect. The standard of cooking is excellent and more importantly consistently good. The staff go out of their way to make YOU feel like you're getting your monies worth. They even cater for pets in the form of a takeaway . Very welcoming, and very satisfying. Definitely the pub to go to . Well done and keep it up.
