Unfortunately, my son found rotten lettuce in his burger, and to make matters worse, the pull string from the cheese packaging was actually in his burger. My daughter discovered a whole strand of hair in her fully-baked potato, and my $18 salad was made with basic iceberg lettuce. My husband’s NY strip didn’t justify its price either. We chose not to mention these issues to the staff since the owner was present and seemed deeply engaged with other guests. Given their limited hours, I feel they could greatly improve their offerings. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, but there seems to be a lack of attention to detail. The restroom was dirty and out of paper towels. Considering the food and wine prices in the area, we were left wondering why they aren't more competitive, especially since they only operate three days a week. Overall, we were disappointed. We’ve had some truly amazing meals locally, and this experience did not measure up to those, especially at that price point. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean, plus the custom bar is stunning!
I visited Graze for dinner last night and was quite disappointed. My girlfriend and I ordered steaks, which turned out to be overpriced cuts of beef seasoned only with a bit of salt and pepper. The meat was tasteless and had a rubbery texture. She also ordered shrimp, which appeared to be microwaved and lacked any seasoning at all. I had the loaded fries, but they were just burnt cheese with a tiny dollop of sour cream. For a meal costing over $100, I considered voicing my concerns about the food quality, but I didn't want to create a scene over how unsatisfactory it was. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good steakhouse experience. In fact, places like Roadhouse or Sedona offer much better steaks than what we found here.
We held our 25th high school reunion at Graze this past weekend, and it was the ideal venue! The staff was incredibly accommodating. Every aspect, from the planning stages to the execution, went smoothly. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive. The team managed every detail, from designing our menu to arranging the band and ensuring our drinks were always topped up! I strongly recommend collaborating with the Graze team if you're considering hosting a private event in the area.
The atmosphere, food, and drinks here are fantastic! My favorite is the Chicken Club Sandwich—there's no other place that compares to the taste and flavor of this dish!
I visited this restaurant several months ago and should have written a review at the time to counter the inevitable positive feedback from family and friends, as my experience here was one of the worst I've ever had. I ordered a steak, and while the sides were forgettable, I remember thinking they were quite bland. The steak was cooked to my preference of medium-rare, but at over $30, I expected much better flavor and texture. Some of my dining companions were charged absurd fees for extras like condiments—one guy paid a dollar for mustard for his burger! As for my dessert, the chocolate cake was so dense and dry that it was almost inedible; I left more than half of it on my plate, which is something I’ve never done with chocolate cake! If you're looking for a good steak, there are much better options in the area for the prices they charge here. I recommend trying one of the many excellent restaurants in Fredericksburg instead. Fahrenheit 132 may be pricey, but at least I know I'll always get my money's worth there!
